We were also visited by Matthew Hime, a junior at Lenox Memorial High School, who spoke about the work he and his classmates have done in partnership with the organization Stop Hunger Now to provide meals to those in need. Their goal is to raise $6,000, enough for 20,000 meals, and so far have achieved half of their overall target donations. He also said that they would be holding a meal-packaging event in Lenox on Sunday, September 11, and invited anyone who was interested to join them in their offorts. Several Rotarians offered donations to aid in their cause. When he is not doing charitable work, Matt is a member of the Lenox Varsity Soccer Team, an Honors student, and an all around solid citizen.
